My name is Lisa, and I’m the proud owner of Mohki Designs. I opened this shop because I wanted to channel my passion for jewelry making into a business. It is truly a dream to be able to make a living by creating art. It all started when I took a lost wax casting class in 2013, and I was instantly hooked on crafting jewelry from scratch. I was so inspired by the process of wax carving, and since then, I have continued taking classes and learning other creative metalsmithing techniques. It is so exciting to be able to use raw materials to turn my ideas into beautiful finished products.

My jewelry has a tribal, bohemian, modern hippie feel that’s made to appeal to free spirited souls. I draw a lot of inspiration from nature, and I love to use raw, earthy gemstones in my pieces. I studied Art History at university, so my knowledge of ancient civilizations and other cultures also influences my work. I love using materials like sterling silver, antiqued bronze, vintage beads from around the world, and crystals to make one of a kind accessories. I like to help others, so I try to incorporate healing stones and metals into my pieces as well. I’m constantly inspired by the outdoors, art, travel, and things I read and see. My Etsy store is always growing, as I design new and interesting jewelry for my customers.

I relocated from London to Orange County, CA in 2012. I have a huge passion for traveling and seeing everything this world has to offer.
